The Dig Site is an area west of Potcrock Isle. In the Prologue John clears out slug nests which have taken over the site. An elevator to the north connects to the Ancient Ruins area.
As each Slug Nest is destroyed the connected utility lights will light up. There's a fridge to save at inside the entrance room as well as a cooking station.
