There are a number of upgrades which can be purchased from merchants thoughout the game. These upgrades usually require [[Gear Part]]s and [[Advanced Gear Part]]s, which are limited and found in treasure chests.
=Capacity Upgrades=
Capacity upgrades increase the storage space in the player inventory for items and ammo.
==Backpack==
Backpack Expansion - Allows you to carry more items in your backpack.
==Bomb Box==
Bomb Box Expansion: Allows you to carry more bombs.
==Ammo Box==
Ammo Box Expansion: Allows you to carry more ammo.
=Weapon Upgrades=
Weapon upgrades upgrade the power and damage of bombs and weapons. Like capacity upgrades they require [[Gear Part]]s - except the [[Frying Pan]]'s upgrades, which are based on story progress.
